Okay friends, I need help tracking down a movie that I have a very vague memory of (it used to give me nightmares as a kid). Here is what I know:

It was something where spider tentacle things came out of a wall in a prison-type room and someone had to hack at them. I think it was color but very sepia-ish and kind of grainy. I could be wrong. I feel like it was an old movie or show that I caught on tv. Maybe the guy was chained up in this prison cell thing when the tentacle/snake/squid things came through the wall and he had to fight it? It wasn't a horror film I don't think. Maybe fantasy? I was just really little and that's all I remember seeing. Not Medusa's head or anything...it was just like snake tentacle-like things (but without suction cups).
